The Burton fire family welcomed its newest mechanical member this week – a 2010 Pierce Quantum pumper; complete with, 1000 gallon tank with 1500gpm pump capacity and over 3,400’ feet of hose.

Pierce Apparatus has been chosen to build a new fire engine for Burton Fire District.  Construction of the cab began this week and they were nice enough to share some photos with us of the work in progress.

Today the Burton Fire District was visited by our friends from Spartan Fire Apparatus.  Pierce's new "P.U.C" was driven to Burton Hill to be looked at by all.
