Crews remained busy today as they were dispatched to a structure fire in the Pigeon Point area of the City this afternoon. E821 ended up being first due as City crews were training in the Mossy Oaks area.
Beaufort City PD was on scene and relayed that there was smoke showing with high heat in the apartment. E821 arrived and Lt. Ganshow assumed command while FF Huber stretched a line to the fire apartment. While doing a 360 size-up of the apartment it was determoned that the conditons were from a pot on the stove. Crews took the "can" in and removed the pot to the rear of the structure.
Crews then remained on scene to remove smoke from the aprtament as a search came up empty for occupants.
