Burton Fire District crews spent the last few weeks training on Parris Island with Parris island Fire/Rescue on their new Flashover Simulator.  This simulator allows firefighters in a controlled environment to experience and feel conditions leading up to a potential flashover.

This training will enhance the firefighter's and fire officer's toolbox in recognizing conditions that will aid in the safety of their crews while fighting structural fires.
