Crews use the Month Of December to Train on Cherokee Farms Road

The Burton Fire District had the fortunate opportunity to do some live fire training in an aquired structure off of Cherokee Farms Road during the month of December.  Deputy Chief Webb delivered some excellent Thermal Imaging Camera training to our crews as well as companies from the City of Beaufort and Town of Port Royal over the month long training.  Crews reviewed and demonstrated sound fire attack and search techniques utilizing the TIC's in progressively more difficult scenarios.   The training concluded January 2 with Shift 3 effectively "bringing down the house" on the final burn.
