This afternoon's Confined Space Refresher training was put on hold for a bit as crews worked a two vehicle accident on Savannah Highway near Baynard Road.

The "3 Engine" Catches Extrication on 170 - Mar 13, 2008 - 9:02:13 PM

Today as crews were set to start military vehicle familiarization training aboard the Marine Corps Air Station for the upcoming Vigilant Guard Exercise, the "3 Engine" was dispatched to an accident with injuries on Hwy 170 in the vicinity of the Broad River Pantry.

821 First Due in Grays Hill - Mar 8, 2008 - 7:38:32 PM
On February 25, 2008 Burton Fire District was dispatched to 16 Smith Road for a structure fire.  Engine 821 was on detail to Grays Hill Station for medical training and was first in.  Captain Cooper reported a working fire on the first floor of a two story single family dwelling extending to the second floor.

Crews battled 5 acre wildfire off of Sea Crest Lane in Stuart Point yesterday morning.  E822 arrived to find a quickly moving fire in medium fuels.

Grays Hill Works Vehicle off the Whale Branch - Feb 29, 2008 - 9:54:36 PM

At about 3:00 pm today, E822 was dispatched to a vehicle accident on Trask Parkway at the Whale Branch Bridge.  While enroute, updated information put one vehicle in the river with possible entrapment.
