Accident Closes the Broad River Bridge - Feb 8, 2010 - 12:58:25 PM
A bad accident closed the Broad River Bridge today when two trucks collided.  A SCDOT truck overturned and a tow truck sustained severe damage in the accident.

Crews Catch Multiple Boats off in Shell Point - Oct 24, 2009 - 5:09:23 PM
Just after noon today, E823 was dispatched to a report of "multiple boats on fire" in the vicinity of Grant and Jefferson Streets in Shell Point.   A large amount of smoke was visible from Parris Island Gateway during the response.

Shift 2 crews were dispatched to a possible structure fire in Lakeview MHP last night.  E825 arrived on scene and reported a working fire underneath a doublewide mobile home.

Vehicle Accident Closes Carolina Avenue - Jun 2, 2009 - 1:54:56 PM
An early morning vehicle accident closed Carolina Avenue for several hours after a vehicle struck a utility pole sending wires across the roadway.  The driver lost control and struck the pole breaking it into 3 pieces.
