In an effort coordinated by South Carolina Firefighter Mobilization, Burton Fire District responded to Charleston to support the city while they laid our brothers to rest. An engine company comprised of Deputy Chief Webb, and Senior Firefighters David Horne, John Perry and John Mosher departed headquarters Sunday morning at 5 am to relieve the Engine 8 Company in downtown Charleston. The Burton Crew received 4 calls during the 24 hour shift including one auto fire and three medical calls. We would like to thank the City of Charleston for their invitation to assist them, and will answer the call anytime needed.
