Burton Fire District’s Commissioner Cornelius Dorsey resigned from the Commission Board in November 2007. He was presented with a plaque for his eight years of service at the Commissioners meeting on Wednesday.

Santa Makes Appearance at Kids Christmas Party - Dec 17, 2007 - 8:20:05 AM
A "jolly old fellow" made a special appearance at the 2007 Kids Christmas Party bringing some early christmas cheer at the Grays Hill Firehouse sunday afternoon.  A great time was had by all who braved the chilly weather to come out for the gala.

Several members of the Burton Fire District were recognized for achievement last nite at the Annual Christmas Ball at the Officer's Club aboard MCAS Beaufort.
