A Blue Angel jet plane crashed in Burton today in the area of Pine Grove and Shanklin Roads while performing at an air show. Burton fire crews, along with Marine Corp Air Station crash crews, Beaufort Fire Department, and several other agencies responded to the scene.
Details of the crash and events that took place after the crash have not yet been released by the federal government. We will update this site when we are allowed to do so.
Civilians are urged NOT to attempt to enter the area of the crash scene. Anyone who crosses the perimeter will be arrested.
