Instructor Cadre for Surviving the Mayday
As usual, several members of the Burton Fire District helped make the 2007 Southeastern Fire School at the South Carolina Fire Academy a huge success.  During the weekend of March 10 and 11, 2007 Chief Rountree, Deputy Chief Webb and Captain Still instructed two of the more popular programs offered this year at the school.  Tim Sendlebach opened this year's program with a great keynote speech to begin the weekend.  Chief Rountree and Captain Still worked with the "Surviving the Mayday" program which "sold out" the first week registrations were taken and Deputy Chief Webb orchestrated the Collapse Rescue in Light Frame Construction Course.  Several other members of the department attended many of the various programs and had good reviews of all.  On a lighter note, FF Eric Chapman is now versed on how to do ATV Rescue in a " hollar"!
