The firefighters at Burton Fire Station 892 have a new mascot thanks to mother nature. Firefighters took advantage of the snow to build a snowman in front of their station to wave at passing residents. While building the snowman, several motorists beeped their horns and waved back at the new addition to the fire station. The firefighters are not sure how long he’ll hang around, but they hope he’ll bring a few smiles to local residents during his stay.

The snowman developed a bad sun allergy
36 hours after the new mascot joined us, he developed an allergic reaction to the sun and left us. Here is all that remains of our friend. It was fun having him around while he lasted!
