The firefighters at Burton Fire Station 892 have a new mascot thanks to mother nature.   Firefighters took advantage of the snow to build a snowman in front of their station to wave at passing residents.

The Burton Fire District remembers the Charleston 9 one year later.  Members traveled to Charleston to attend the Memorial Service yesterday.  The service was well done as a majority of it was memories put to music of each of the fallen by their families.

You know it is spring when the Easter Bunny appears at the Beaufort County Fair Grounds for the VFW Easter Festival. The Easter Bunny arrived code-3 with the crew of Engine 821 to an excited group of smiling children.

Burton Fire District Participates in Annual Beaufort Christmas Parade - Dec 10, 2007 - 8:28:00 AM
The Burton Fire District participated in Beaufort's Annual Christmas Parade yesterday afternoon by placing three trucks in the procession.  The parade was a big hit with the thousands of people lined up along the parade route in the almost 80 degree temperatures.
