Just as crews were finishing up some morning rescue training, dispatch alerted them to a vehicle accident on Parris Island Gateway with one vehicle overturned and one entrapment.  E823 led by Lt. Chris Moyer arrived within minutes and found a two vehicle accident with one vehicle on its side and the driver entrapped.

Lt. Moyer immediately called for E821 for back up.  Lt. Moyer assumed Parris Island Gateway Command and had his crew begin stabilization and hazard control while Beaufort County EMS 2 began patient care.  The driver appeared to be ok, but trapped.  E821 arrived on scene and was assigned to help with stabilization utilizing their vehicle stabilization kits and  then assist EMS with patient packaging and removal.

Units on scene: IC- Lt. Chris Moyer, E823, E821, 804, BCEMS2, BCSO, Port Royal PD, AMS
